Why?
Because of LOVE

Love is mentioned 442 times in KJV
Not including charity
Charity is referred to is the ultimate form of love

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

(Love) - stands above everything

Love Jesus
Love others
Love You
*Self love is the hardest

We are the hardest critic of ourselves. But we are a crucially part of JOY. There is no JOY if you don’t love yourself.

Self Love is being patient and kind to yourself, even when you make a mistake. It means having self compassion. Self love fights and overcomes in perseverance.

God has already forgiven us, so we need to forgive ourselves. We can’t grow in our walk with God if we hold ourselves back by not loving ourselves.

Today we are on Others
Acts 20:35
I have showed you all things, how that no labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Everyone has a weakness. We have to help support others in their weakness

The best way we can help others is to tell them about Jesus and make sure their spiritual wellbeing is taken care of. From their we can help with their other needs.

Altruism- When we act to promote someone else’s welfare, even at the risk or cost to ourselves.

Proven through scientific evidence that altruism is hardwired into our brain and that it brings pleasure.

When we give JOY, We receive JOY

Right now in our World, there is very little joy. We have to make a choice to chose JOY

Bryan showed JOY by serving the congregation a meal. We found JOY in fellowship.

Remember we have Others to help us and lift us up. But we also have to be there for Others and lift them up as well.
