The second event in the Mission Masters event was chipping the ball at three different flags that were at 25 yards, 50 yards, and 85 yards. The men in the RECON program focused on their swings, in the hopes of landing a ball within the green around the flag. When a ball landed in that green, they would receive a stroke off their final event, the putting.

Who can golf? Is it only individuals with a lot of money? Is it something you do only when you are retired? Many people view golf as a sport that is beyond their reach. They feel that they do not have enough money or the right status to be on a golf course.

The Niagara Gospel Country Club is a program of the Niagara Gospel Mission, where we teach homeless men and men in recovery how to golf and how the game impacts their lives and recovery. Please follow this page as it documents the lives of men whose lives are changed by the game of golf in Western New York.
