This Week at St. George!

Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

I hope you’ve all had a great summer and are ready to begin the school year… it went WAY too fast. And btw, Happy Church New Year!

A lot going on as we ramp up towards our parish centennial:

+First, Banquet Reservations are CLOSED. I hope all who wanted to be there took care of biz beforehand.

+Picnic reservations, on the other hand, are still OPEN! Please make your reservation before they close on Sunday.

+TIME TO CLEAN! We’ve had the floors done and other prep, but still much to do. Please see me, Khouriye, Liz Lia or Mike Slaiman about ways you can help.

+PRAY! Please continue to pray for a blessed event that celebrates our heritage and prepares us for what God has in store for us in the future.

Wait! Didn’t we repair the roof?
Yes, the back roof area where the Parish Hall and Christian Education wing were repaired, along with the dome of our beloved church, a few years ago. It’s now a “rainy day”, and time to repair the roof area around the entrance (Narthex) and our temple.
With our 100th anniversary upon us and our 50-year-old church building, let’s give the church all the love it needs by repairing the roof before the winter snow and ice cause any further damage.
Every dollar given helps a great deal — Thank you for your donation towards the Roof Repair Campaign!
