Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

I pray all are well. Between travel and surgery, I haven’t sent out a weekly missive in a bit.

Remember, the Apostles Fast started yesterday and runs until the Feast of SS Peter & Paul. Falling back into our regular weekly schedule:

Wednesday 6/10
6PM Small Compline and Akathist for All Saints of North America
7PM Bible Study (Deuteronomy)

Saturday 6/13
5PM Great Vespers
6PM Catechism
Chapter 3 of “Journey to Reality” (If you have it)

Sunday 6/14 Sunday of All Saints of Antioch and All Saints of North America
9AM Sunday Matins
10AM Divine Liturgy

Christian Education…

Christian Education for the year is coming to a close, but we'll be back after our Centennial celebration! Stay tuned for updates in September. 6/7 - Family Potluck. Please remember to bring a dish to share and stay for some fellowship. In the Orthodox Church, the "coffee hour" or fellowship that immediately follows the Divine Liturgy is a vital tradition. It transitions the church community from the "divine fellowship" of worship to human connection and outreach....

Memory eternal +++

It is with profound regret that we let you know of the falling asleep of our beloved sister in Christ, Karen Wasieczko, who was a beacon of light and a pillar of strength at St. George for so many, many, many years. She was a trusted friend to us all. May her memory be eternal. O God of spirits and of all flesh, Who hast trampled down death and overthrown the Devil, and given life to Thy world, do Thou, the same Lord, give rest to the souls of Thy departed servants in a place of brightness, a place of refreshment, a place of repose, where all sickness, sighing, and sorrow have fled away....

Glory to God for all things!

Fr. Raphael is home, resting after his (second) hip replacement surgery done this week, on Wednesday. Thank you to those who have checked in. He is feeling stronger each day. Once again, Fr. Alex Mitrovich will be serving the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, May 31st, with the "Kneeling prayers" for the Feast of Pentecost; again on Sunday, June 7th. Please welcome him and attend the holy services!...
