Pastor Mike Faust will be giving the message. The Gospel for today will be from Matthew 9: 9-13, 18-26. See how people who were considered sinners, were called to help spread the Gospel. Also see how Jesus responds to why he shares meals with those who are considered sinners.

Our Gospel is from Matthew 15:10-28. Our Pastor MIchael Faust will be leading us in worship today. Jesus teaches us that what comes from the mouth is what defies a person, because this is what truly comes from the heart. Today is the blessing of our youths backpacks. Our church service will not be livestreamed next week, the 27th. We will be at Centerville Lutheran Church at 10:30 A.M. This combined service will be followed by a picnic and will be an outdoor service, weather permitting. Our Sunday School classes will begin again on September 17th. These classes will be called Faith Formation classes. We are all trying to learn more each day, to be able to know our Lord Jesus Christ better.

Our Gospel is from portions of Matthew chapter 13. Jesus tells us of parables today in our Gospel. Each one shows how,even as little as we are,we can make great things happen through Christ. Our Pastor Michael Faust will be preaching today. A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. A community hymn sing will be held at the Dickinson Presbyterian Church on August 12th, 6-8 P.M. bring a lawn chair and food trucks will there beginning at 5:00.
