Do you enjoy cooking, blessing and nurturing others through a good meal?

We invite you to join our Meals Ministry! This is an opportunity to provide a meal to those going through challenging times, such as a loss of a loved one, birth of a child, a sickness, surgery, etc. The ministry of sharing meals is an act of love that tangibly expresses the love of Christ. If you have a hospitable spirit and would like to nourish those in need at Grace Point through a shared meal, please contact: Eileen Hemming, our Care Coordinator, at [email protected].

Our Children's Ministry Special Needs Classroom on Sunday mornings is available to those for whom it would be a blessing! We are thankful and excited to be able to serve children with special needs.

On Sundays at 10:30 a.m., we offer tailored options to meet the unique needs of each child:

-->Inclusion Classroom: Children can participate in a typical classroom setting with the support of one-on-one buddies.

-->Special Needs Classroom (Room 402): A dedicated space where the Gospel is taught in a way that is accessible and engaging for all.

Parents, if this classroom would be a blessing to your child, please reach out to Sheri Girgenti with any questions or for more information at [email protected].

Interested in volunteering? We would love for more people to be involved, so please let us know if you are interested in helping out! Please get in touch with Sheri at [email protected].

Nuts and Bolts: Tools for Building a Culture of Care for those with Mental Health Challenges Course

Saturday, October 25, 2025
9:00 a.m. - Noon

It is common for faith communities to ask what they must do to start a mental health ministry in their congregation. While this desire is good, it can sometimes neglect the more foundational need for a broad-based culture of care. When a culture of respect, vulnerability and welcome permeates a faith community, specific ministry programs can be successful rather than stigmatizing. In this workshop, insight will be given around the tools for building such a culture within your faith community.

Course Objectives:

Discover the importance of crafting a cultural foundation as you build a mental health ministry.

Gain tools for building a culture of care within your faith community for those with mental health challenges.

Identify tools for doing outreach to those with mental health concerns in your broader community.

Trainer: Dave Eckert, M.Div, CPRP | Senior Director of Intersect

THROUGH DECEMBER 14, 2025

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Most people quickly feel comfortable and accepted in their GriefShare group as they discover there are others who understand the hurt and the loss they are experiencing.

Don't go through the grieving process alone. Join us on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. in the Heritage Room through December 14.
