A Pastoral Update: A Season of Rest and Discernment 🙏🏾
Church Family, as previously announced during our Sunday services, Pastor Thompson will be on a pastoral sabbatical from May through August 2026!
This time away is a deliberate season for Pastor Thompson to focus on rest, physical renewal, and the completion of his doctoral thesis. But more than that, it is a call to our entire congregation to enter a period of corporate discernment. Over the next few months, we ask that you join us in earnest prayer for the future and ongoing vitality of Macedonia Baptist Church.
What you need to know:
📖 Sunday Service: Pastor Thompson will still be preaching on the 1st Sunday of every month! Our Selected Standard Associate and Guest Ministers will be bringing the Word on all other Sundays.
🙏🏾 Mid-Week Study: We will be partnering with Bethlehem Baptist Church for Wednesday evening Bible Study and continue with Mount Zion Baptist Church for our Noon Day Connection.
