What a day!

Yesterday we held our “getting involved with the St. Alban’s Thrift Shop “ luncheon and what a turnout!

We are excited to get the shop together and ready to reopen for you all.

With the end of summer approaching (not that we are acknowledging it!) we thought it was a good time to remind everyone that being kind to yourself during this time of transition is important.

If you are a family with kids going back to school, schedules will get crazy. Be kind to yourself.

If you’re entering the fall with a loved one not being around anymore, feelings might get complicated. Be kind to yourself.

Whatever your circumstances are, change (especially from summer to fall) can be hard. Be kind to yourself.

As always, our doors are open if you need a few minutes of time with the big guy.

When people try to explain what makes someplace special, they often go to the big things.

They’ll talk about something someone spent a lot of money on or some THING that another place has that no one else does.

Thats great if that’s what matters to you.

To us, it’s the small things. The quiet conversations at coffee hour or the kids playing outside.

Or it’s the simple act of greeting the parishioners at the end of service, like Father Kenn and Father Win did this past weekend.

Flat Jesus made an appearance at the Christmas in July festivities at MudHen Brewing Company in Wildwood last night!

His favorite parts were the face painting, the pictures with Santa, and the snow bubbles!
