Yesterday was hard-emotionally and physically hard. With all the honor, respect, and love shown to my husband and all his family, the day was made beautiful. Thank you for all the cards, the calls, the food, the visits, texts, messages, the flowers and the love and prayers for our family. Every act has been felt.
With much love and gratitude,
Sandy and the Kilgore family.

Well, beginning to think it’s a scam or something. I pressed in the messages where it said we could contest it and “site not safe. Scammers trying to get your info is possible on the site. Do not use this site.”So we did not go to the site. We are just going to get back online and go live. As of right now the website is still up and running. 🤷‍♀️if you notice any post that seem out of character for Bethel please let me or Mark know. Thank you all for your support.

Our Heavenly Father we thank you this day for Your glorious grace. We thank You that today. the first day of the week, we gather to praise and honor our all glorious Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that we worship the One true living, risen Lord. Thank you for your great works. Father we thank You that You saw fit to bless us with the first human to know us, the very one who would aid in our nurture and development while in her womb. We thank You as she would continue that nurture and development some years later. Yes we thank You for our mom’s. May we cherish them be they still with us or in Your eternal presence. In Your beloved Son’s name we pray. Amen!

Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston, Texas. Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he though himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.' Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet.'

When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change.'

The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town?'
'Yes' he replied.
'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday.'

When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.'

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to the test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian.'
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits..
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder. So, I choose to forward it to you - my friend. God bless you.

If you don't pass this on to anybody, nothing bad will happen; but, if you do, you will have ministered to someone today. Be the Light!
