Join us for a contemplative Good Friday service this Friday 3/29 at 12 PM at Elevation Chapel - 150 Lowell Ave., Newtonville, MA.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." ‭(Romans 5:6-8 NIV‬)

During Lent we will be praying for our community and lifting each other up before God in prayer. We invite you to ask God to put the names of three people or families on your heart. Write them on the prayer card and pray for them over the next few months. Pray for those people to know God more, and to be opened to God's hope and power in their lives!

I keep asking God to give you a Spirit of wisdom, that you may know him better, that your heart be opened to the hope he gives us, and that you might know his great power for those who believe. (from ephesians 1:15-19)

Pick up your prayer card on Sunday or download one from our Linktree - https://linktr.ee/newtoncovenantchurch.
