A prayer offered by Bp. MichaelAngelo D’Arrigo

Holy Mystery of Love, known by many names and beyond all names,

As we gather at the beginning of Pride Month, we pause to honor the sacred diversity woven into the human family. We give thanks for every person who has had the courage to live authentically, to love openly, and to shine their unique light into a world that too often asks people to hide.

We remember those who came before us, the elders, advocates, dreamers, and everyday people whose lives and sacrifices helped carve pathways toward greater justice, freedom, and belonging. We honor those whose names are remembered and those whose stories have been lost to history, trusting that every act of courage has helped shape the world we inherit today.

We hold in our hearts those who continue to face rejection, discrimination, violence, and isolation because of who they are. May they know that they are not alone. May they discover communities of welcome, voices of affirmation, and the deep truth that their lives possess inherent worth and immeasurable dignity.

May this Pride Month be more than a celebration. May it be a renewal of our commitment to one another. May we become people who choose compassion over fear, understanding over judgment, and love over hatred. May we stand alongside all who seek justice, equity, and peace, recognizing that none of us are fully free until all of us can flourish.

And may we remember that diversity is not a problem to be solved but a blessing to be embraced. The many expressions of humanity reveal the beauty of creation itself, inviting us into a larger, richer, and more expansive understanding of what it means to belong.

In gratitude, in hope, and in love, we offer this prayer.
Amen. Blessed Be. And so it is.

May 31, 2026 Join us for 10:00am Liturgy for Holy Trinity Sunday! Today we celebrate the feast day of the Holy Trinity. Fr. Richard Rohr tell us that "to understand the nature of God is to experience relationship. God is formlessness (the Father), God is form (the Son), and God is the very living and loving energy between those two (the Holy Spirit). God is a fountain fullness of love, a water wheel flowing constantly in one direction: Father to Son, Son to Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit to Father—always outflowing, always outpoured, always giving." THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT BY JIM PALMER

You can believe in God, but not be religious.

You can ascribe significance to Jesus, but not be a Christian.

You can find meaning in the Bible, but not believe it is the only or absolute truth.

You can believe in eternal life, but not as streets of gold or flames of torment.

You can accept you are capable of wrongdoing, but not believe you are a sinner.

You can cultivate a meaningful and relational spirituality, but not go to church.

You can be an instrument of hope and healing, but not have a seminary degree or ministry position.

You can follow your spiritual path, but not write off all the others.

You can honor what you find sacred, but not place it over the supremacy of love.

You can belong to your specific tribe, but not betray solidarity with all humankind.

You can aim for your highest human aspirations, but not disregard the more-than-human world.

May 17, 2026 Join us for 10:00am Liturgy for the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus on this Seventh Sunday of Easter. Jesus reassures the disciples that he will be with them always, the same is true for us. Let us stop gazing towards heaven yearning and longing, but instead, take that promise and be Christ's hand and feet in the world showing compassion and mercy, taking action for justice and peace, and loving with abandon.
