Today, we remember the lives lost, the families who were forever changed, the first responders and their selfless acts in the face of danger, and the courage, compassion, and unity that came from this tragic time.

Twenty five years later, we still remember. May we always remember. ❤️🤍💙

When the Pastor is away, the congregation will play…and try to manage all the great things that take place during worship!

We welcomed Guest preaching from congregation member Terry Love!

Terry spoke about the power of prayer and how God is forever welcoming our prayers and for us to call on him, not just in time of need but daily with all our hopes and dreams!

We pray that our beloved pastor and her family had a much deserved vacation!

Join us!

Today, we celebrated the journey of our pastor, Ashley Johnson, as she walks in faith toward ordination!

We are fortunate to be able to gift her with a beautiful robe as she heads to the Trinity Conference GMC - Annual Conference in College Station this week!

The next time we hear her preach she will be … Reverend Ashley Johnson
Pastor at First Methodist Church
Newton, Texas

What a glorious time it is in her life and the life of our sweet church!

It was also fun to teach the youngest people in our church all about what “ordination” means! They loved trying on the robe!

Today, we join churches across our nation in prayer—lifting up our families, communities, leaders, and neighbors before the Lord. In every season, prayer reminds us that we are never alone and never beyond the reach of God’s grace.

May we be people who seek Christ first, knowing that God hears the prayers of His people, moves in powerful ways, and faithfully meets us in every season.

Such a beautiful service remembering the life of long time church member Sam Kelly McMahon.

Our church was filled with present and past members, lifelong friends and tons of family.

He will be missed!

Join us any Sunday to hear the word and receive the love and peace we so genuinely pass to each of you!
