JIREH MINISTRY IS LIFTING UP THOSE AFFECTED IN PRAYER. 🙏
We are praying for the families, the first responders, and every single person out there working around the clock. I’m asking God to give them strength, not just physically, but spiritually and mentally too.
One of the few silver linings in the middle of all this heartbreak has been the stories of pure bravery. How some of these heroes were just kids themselves. Teenagers, still babies in many ways, pulling other children to safety. Risking everything without a second thought. It’s a powerful reminder that courage doesn’t always come with age. Even in the darkest moments, God still lets His light shine through people, and sometimes that light comes from the most unexpected places.
They may never see this post and that’s okay. Sometimes you can’t sit silent when others are hurting. This is my way of standing in the gap, lifting them up the only way I know how....through prayer and compassion.
We've walked through our own share of floods in our area, but what’s happened in Kerrville is heavy in a different way. It’s one thing to see it on the news, but to live through it. To be jolted awake in the middle of the night with water rising around you, is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
The fact that the river rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes is mind blowing. That’s not something you can prepare for. That kind of sudden chaos changes everything. The panic. The confusion. The helplessness. It’s a different kind of storm when it shows up that fast.
Among the missing are some from the Beaumont area. Lord, bring all of the lost and unaccounted for back home safely to those who love them dearly.
My mind can’t even fathom the fear those families must be feeling. One moment it’s calm, and in the next, everything changes. The panic. The confusion. The helplessness. That kind of trauma doesn’t just pass when the water goes down. It stays. It lingers.
To every family affected, to those still waiting to hear about their loved ones, my heart and prayers is with you. I’m praying the Lord gives you strength that doesn’t make sense and peace that only He can give. And when the floodwaters are gone, I pray God helps put the broken pieces back together in a way only He can.
Standing with you in prayer. 💔🙏🏽
