Jesus was never hurried. Even though crowds pressed in around Him everywhere he went and people demanded His attention, Jesus never was rushed. He always moved with purpose and never panic.

Why? Because Jesus trusted the Father completely. He knew who He was, He knew what He'd been called to do, and He knew the Father’s will was good.

Many of us live as if everything depends on us. We rush from task to task, answer every notification, carry every burden, and exhaust ourselves trying to control outcomes we can’t control. Jesus shows us a better way. Just like Him, you can walk faithfully, move with purpose, leave the outcomes in God’s hands.

The Bible speaks of something called the “weight of glory.” At first, it sounds like a contradiction. We usually think of glory as something bright, beautiful, and uplifting. But Scripture describes it as heavy. Why?

Because glory isn’t something shallow or temporary. It’s substantial. Real. Eternal. When the apostle Paul wrote that “our present sufferings are producing an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,” he was saying that while our present trials feel heavy, there’s something even heavier waiting for those who belong to Christ:

- The joy of seeing God face to face.
- The fullness of redemption.
- The restoration of all things.
- The unending presence of Christ.

Even the greatest burdens of this life are light and momentary in comparison to the coming reality of the weight of His glory.
