Newton Congregational UCC

Newton Congregational UCC Sunday morning worship at 11am. Worship is the central experience of our church's life. The mission of our education program is to make disciples.

Nurtured and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, we gather as people of faith who celebrate God's love and acceptance of all people. Our vision is that Congregational United Church of Christ will be a community where everyone is offered abundant hospitality in the name of Jesus Christ. It is the mission of our church to pray together, to worship together, to learn together, and to become an intergene

rational community of love and service to the world. All the other activities that enable the church to carry out its ministry, we seek to anchor in worship like the spokes of a wheel are anchored in its hub. We seek to do this through Bible study, through Christian Education for all ages, and through consciously applying our Christian faith to confront the ethical and moral issues of today's world. We seek to be a community of love -- a group of people that enjoys being together, that plays together, that seeks to share each other's joys and concerns, that supports each other in facing the challenges of life, that nurtures one another in the Christian faith, that welcomes all persons who come seeking God and Christian fellowship. We seek to be a community of service -- a congregation that consciously seeks to serve those who are not a part of the church; to share the good news, and to support the wider mission of the church with our material and spiritual blessings. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!
