Our littlest disciples explored the story of Creation through hands-on sensory play, touching, scooping, sorting, discovering, and having plenty of fun along the way!

Even our youngest children can begin discovering the wonder of God and the beautiful world God created.

Two Adult Sunday School Classes - Choose one or visit both!

Scott Cranford will continue to lead a seminar-style class on the Book of Revelation, based on N.T. Wright's book, Revelation for Everyone.
This class meets at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Classroom on the upper level.

Adult Sunday School - Join the Adult Sunday School Class this Sunday at 11:25 upstairs in the Fellowship Classroom. The group will continue the study of the Confessions of Faith adopted by the PC(USA). The study will focus on this and will also look at banners made to depict main points of the confessions.

Exciting news at FPC Newton!

We are so happy to welcome Cathy Murdock back as our Interim Director of Music! Cathy has shared her musical gifts with our church family for more than 30 years, and we are grateful to have her leading us in worship once again!

Choir members: We’ll rehearse this Sunday, September 6 at 9:00 AM before worship in the choir room.

Our regular music rehearsals resume Wednesday, September 9:
Handbells — 6:00 PM
Choir — 7:00 PM

In Guatemala, the Day of the Bible is celebrated annually in August. This year, the Women’s Union of our partner presbytery organized a celebration that was held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in La Junta. In this video, the women from El Redentor present an acrostic poem, where each one shares a verse about the Bible, followed by a song that should be familiar to all of us. Thank you to Edilma Rodas for sharing this video with us!
