When 1st and 2nd grade visit Homewood Grill Newton they treat us like Saints. Ice cream and music! These little Saints loved their visit.

Thursday's prayer was written and shared by 8th grader, Bryar French.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for another beautiful day.
Thank you for guiding us through another school year.
Give us the courage to face challenges with confidence, the patience to learn from our mistakes, and kindness to treat others with respect.
Please watch over us as we play our summer sports and go on vacations.
Help guide us 8th graders as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Remind us that we are never alone.
Watch over our families and keep us safe and healthy.
Amen.

Heavenly Father,

As we end this school year, we give thanks to You for all the teaching and learning that has gone on in and out of our classrooms.

We are thankful for the talents and gifts of these students and teachers and their willingness to share them with each other and with our school and church.

Thank you for the friendships that have been made and those that have been strengthened.

For those moments that we have found success or victory, give us a spirit of humility and gratitude. When we experienced disappointment or defeat, give us a spirt of forgiveness and peace.

Lord, we ask that you bless us all as we head into the summer. Keep us healthy, safe and full of Your love for others we meet. May all we do glorify You.

Thank you for the gift of Mrs. Schreifels and for the wisdom and care she has shared with all of her students throughout her years at St. Thomas. We offer prayers for her journey and encouragement for new position, that she is appreciated and respected by her students and co-workers.

We continue to pray for those who are sick and for those who are near death, that their faith in Christ will make them stronger.

Please bless our military men and women and their families, especially Connor Clevenger and the Weber family, that they feel the thanks for the sacrifices they are making.

For any special prayers we hold in our hearts this morning…
