Today was a day we will never forget.
This morning, we dedicated our new multipurpose building to the Lord, and as we stood in that beautiful space, our hearts were overwhelmed with gratitude. Not because of the building itself, but because of what it represents.
This building is the result of generations of faithful people who came before us. Men and women who loved their church, loved their community, and loved their God. They faithfully gave their tithes and offerings week after week, year after year. Some sacrificed when it wasn’t easy. Some served quietly behind the scenes. Others loved this church so deeply that they continued investing in its future through gifts left even after they had gone home to be with the Lord.
Today, we walked into this new facility completely debt free.
Think about that for a moment.
No burden of debt. No mortgage hanging over us. Just a testimony of God’s provision and the faithfulness of His people across many years.
What once was an old warehouse has been transformed into a place where people will worship, learn God’s Word, fellowship together, minister to others, and watch future generations come to know Christ. Children will laugh here. Families will gather here. Lives will be changed here. Not because of the building, but because of the God who made it possible.
As we celebrated today, we couldn’t help but think of those who prayed for this church, served this church, gave to this church, and paved the way for what we experienced. Their legacy lives on.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
Look what God did.
To God be all the glory.
