Thank you to the children and youth of the church for a wonderful Children's Sunday Worship Service! The choir echoed their message with the Choral Offering, "The Plans I Have for You" by A. Pote. After worship many participated in the fund raising walk that raised $4000 for Family Promise Metrowest - an organization that provides a continuum of support to families in varying stages of housing instability. https://www.familypromisemetrowest.org/what-we-do/our-programs.html
Join us for worship this Sunday, May 10th, and stay for fellowship time when The Christian Education Committee invites everyone to celebrate the women of the church with music and special refreshments.

“It’s not the (unbelievable) miracles driving people away from religion; it’s the Christians who don’t live by Jesus’ word about how we are supposed to treat each other.” John Fugelsang
Rev Ken Baily’s message on Sunday focused on “offense” – how following a path of compassion, humility, and justice was seen as threatening to entrenched power and labeled an “offense” in Jesus' time and too often is seen that way today. The choral offering was from the Messiah by G.G.Handel. If you missed it, see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcHW6ZnMooY.

Join us this Sunday when we celebrate Palm/Passion Sunday. Then come back during holy week for a Tenebrae service (service of shadows) on Good Friday, then two Easter worship services and an Egg hunt on Sunday. See schedule below.

"For if you remain silent at this time… you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14

Esther's words have been with us this Lent - in worship, in our book study, and in our lives.
Last Sunday was our annual Healing Worship, we lit candles, and the choir sang "There is a Balm in Gilead."
Join us this Sunday when we mark the third Sunday of Lent. Stay after worship for our annual Nicaraguan lunch and support the Free High School of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. See you in church!
