We are a warm and dynamic congregation of the United Church of Christ (UCC), located in Newton Corner, near all points in Newton as well as Brighton and Watertown. We strive to weave service and advocacy into the fabric of all we do as a community of faith. By doing so we hope to cultivate an awareness that doing justice, serving others and working for change in our world is a central part of bein
g a Christian. We cherish our children and youth, and dedicate many resources in providing multiple opportunities for education, spiritual formation, and Christian growth. We also treasure music and the arts as pathways to grow in communion with God and with each other. Eliot is an Open and Affirming Church, believing that ALL people are children of God. We recognize, celebrate and give thanks for the rich diversity and boundless gifts of EVERYONE.
