🐔 470 Chickens... because of your generosity!

This year, God used the incredible generosity of our district youth to make a lasting impact in Uganda.

Through the combined offerings from SDYC, JHYC, Kids Camp, Junior High Camp, and Ascent, we raised a total of $7,052.08 in our offerings toward the King's Kid Poultry Project (equaling the cost of ~470 laying hens)

These funds will help provide nutritious food for students while creating a sustainable source of income that will bless the ministry for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who gave, prayed, and encouraged our youth to be part of something bigger than themselves. It's amazing to see God working not only in Uganda, but also in the hearts of people who chose to give generously.

CAMP SEASON STARTS THIS WEEK
Junior High Camp is May 27-31

We are SO excited for this week together. Camp is one of our favorite times of the year — a chance to unplug, have fun, worship together, build friendships, and most importantly, connect more deeply with Jesus.
To every student, counselor, and leader who will be with us: we can't wait to CONNECT with you. God is already at work, and we're praying this week will be unforgettable.
And to those who won't be with us this year — we'd love your prayers! Please pray for:
- Safety in travel and throughout the week
- Deep friendships and meaningful conversations
- Students to feel seen, known, and loved
- Hearts to be open to what God wants to do
- Leaders and counselors as they pour into students

We believe God is going to do something special - See you at camp!
