🀄 We had such a fun afternoon of Mahjong at Newsoms United Methodist Church this past Sunday!

A special thank you to the wonderful ladies who hosted and taught our Mahjong class, and thank you to everyone who joined us to learn, play, and enjoy some fellowship together. We loved seeing both new and experienced players around the tables!

We’re hoping the fun doesn’t stop here - we may continue to offer open Mahjong play at the church in the future. Stay tuned!

19,000 meals packed! ❤️🌎

Today, Newsoms United Methodist Church, along with Boykins United Methodist Church, Drewryville UMC, Grace Memorial UMC, and High Street United Methodist Church, came together for a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event. Together, we packed an incredible 19,000 meals for people facing hunger around the world!

Rise Against Hunger works to fight hunger in communities across the globe, providing nutritious meals that help support not only immediate nutritional needs, but also education, health, and brighter futures for children and families.

It was such a wonderful day of fellowship and service and a great reminder of the impact we can make when our churches come together for a shared purpose. Many hands made light work, and we had a great time working alongside our friends and neighbors for such a meaningful mission!

A special thank you to High Street UMC for hosting today’s event and inviting us to be a part of it. And thank you to everyone from NUMC who donated, volunteered, packed meals, and helped make today possible. We are so grateful for each of you!

What a wonderful evening at our Summer Cookout! ☀️🌭🍔

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of great food, wonderful fellowship, and lots of fun! It was such a joy to see friends old and new gathered together, and the bounce houses were definitely a hit with the kids!

We’re so thankful for everyone who helped make the evening such a success.
