YOOO WUDDDUPPPP!!

End of 3 weeks deep in the land of Taiwan. Got another month or so left. This week week there was an english summer camp! For the people who know young life.. there were like 100+ teachers assistants (TA’s) (equivalent to Work Crew) and about 300+ kids. Imagine that except none of them believe in Jesus. We had a super hero based camp where the kids had an awesome 5 days with us while we taught english through stories like Noah & the ark, Elijah, Joseph, etc.
No lie my biggest goal was to bring Jesus to the TA’s who are all about 17 y/o and amazing. Culturally you can say “let’s pray” and immediately everyone will close their eyes. They may have no idea what the heck you are talking about lol not even counting the language barrier and limited english they may know. So yesterday on the final day they told the teachers to get with their classroom TA’s and pray for the students before they showed up on the final day with their parents.. I took this opportunity to instead preach the bible in like 10 minutes to my TA’s from creation, what sin is, where it came from, what true love is, to the difference between Old Testament and New Testament, to God coming down in the form as a baby aka Jesus, growing up, healing his whole life, getting whipped 39 times when it took 40 to kill someone, to dying on the cross, to raising back to life 3 days later getting seen by over 500+ people when he came back, to forgiveness, purpose, and the Holy Spirits power in our lives and what that means today. I told them “Jesus said to go and make disciples of ALL nations not just america so that’s why I’m here to talk to you guys about this because this about you too!
hahaha c’mon!
My TA’s started crying and actually the guy I’m holding (albner) and the taller guy to right(Oscar) both prayed the prayer with me after and received Jesus.
