There are times when we grow tired, the road gets hard, and the world around us pulls our focus away from where it belongs.

Hebrews 12 reminds us where to look.

Hebrews 11 is often called the “Faith Hall of Fame.” But these weren’t people trying to become heroes. They were ordinary people simply trying to remain faithful to God.

Eventually, the writer stops naming names and simply calls them “others.”

Maybe our names will never be remembered either. And that’s okay.

I don’t need my name in the Faith Hall of Fame. I just want to be counted among the faithful.

🏡 Homecoming 2026 — A Strong Heritage. A Bright Future.

For nearly 190 years, God has been faithful to Level Green Christian Church. This Sunday, we’ll celebrate that heritage—but we’ll also look ahead.

We inherited this church, but we are not its destination.

What will we leave for the generation that comes after us?

Join us for Homecoming as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and look toward the future He has entrusted to us.

⚓ In Case You Missed It on Sunday, August 9…

Hebrews 11 reminds us that faith does not mean having every answer or seeing every step of the road ahead.

Abraham went without knowing where God was leading. Noah built before he ever saw the rain. The patriarchs died still believing promises they could only see from a distance.

Faith does not require knowing every detail. It requires trusting the One who does.

God is faithful. His promises are sure. And the best is yet to come.

So hold fast. Keep trusting. And by God’s grace… keep walking. ⚓
