🦈 Shark Week with our New Hope Kids 🌊

Today we had a JAW-some time learning that Jesus is bigger than anything that scares us! Even a shark!

We learned about Peter walking on water. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he walked by faith. But when he focused on the wind and the waves… or the thought of a shark, he became afraid and began to sink.

🌊 Fear looks at the waves.
✝️ Faith looks at Jesus.

No matter what fears we face, Jesus is always with us and we can trust Him through every storm.

Through a fun, interactive puppet lesson, we’ll learn that just as puppets are controlled by the person holding them, we should let Jesus guide our words, attitudes, and actions so we can show kindness, tell the truth, and share God’s love. ❤️
