GLOW children's ministry GLOW is the children's ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church in Newport News, Va.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank-you to everyone who has helped out in our GLOW ministry while I was the director. I appreciate each and every one of you! I will miss you all and all of the children!! I pray many blessings over Immanuel and thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach these wonderful children about our Savior!

This page will stay open but have a different admin.

If you all do not mind please bring back all Easter eggs. We will have a bucket in the foyer on Sunday for drop off.

Hey everyone!

Please do not forget our egg hunt is this Sunday after church! 3/25
This Wednesday will be the last day for candy donations. We ask that all candy is individually wrapped. Thank you so much to all that have donated!

We are asking for snack donations for our ministry. If you have children that participate in our program and would like to contribute we would greatly appreciate it.
We are asking for goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks and small juice boxes.

Also, we are collecting candy for our egg hunt on March 25th. We have a bin located in the foyer for all donations. We are asking for individually wrapped candy that will fit in plastic eggs. Thank you to all of you who have already donated!

Good morning! Quick reminder:

The flu season is upon us. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy! If you child has any of the following symptoms please keep them at home.

*congestion or coughing
*chills
*headache
*aching muscles
*cough
*fatigue
*sore throat

We love ALL of our Glow children and for that reason our sick policy is strictly enforced.

Today in our k-5th grade Sunday school class we made a prayer jar. Please take the time to pray with your children this week. This is an easy way for them to remember their prayer request.
Also, we have been talking about the Lord's prayer. Please read that with your child this week and talk about it.
