But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not us. We are afflicted in every way but not crushed, perplexed but not driven to despair, persecuted but not forsaken, struck down but not destroyed 2 Corinthians 4:7-9
We are lumps of clay formed and fashioned by God's hands. His workmanship, placed in the furnace to become beautiful vessels for His use. Earthen vessels can break under the pressures of life. But if you are filled with Him, the essence that seeps out of the broken places is the fragrance and presence of God! What are you filling yourself with?
