Can we please stop telling believers to give inorder to move God to bless them. It’s in God’s NATURE to BLESS us weather we give or NOT. Our giving does not in any way, form or shape challenge or motivate Him to bless us. We give because we possess His giving nature with holding nothing!

The nature we have received is a CHEERFUL nature. This is why we give cheerfully. Cheerful giving is the joy that we encounter when we are asked to give. It’s a joy that expresses the reflective thoughts of His goodness in our lives. If that joy isn’t there; then is not a cheerful giving.

*** 26 Reasons Why The Law Was Given***

I remember being crucified by Pastors in Nigeria many years ago as a young pastor when I told my students that the Law was not given by God; but by an angel who walked or worked with Moses. That angel was a representation of God and could act on his own accord at the expense of man.

A practical example was when Angel Gabriel came to Zachariah to give the message of the Lord. Zachariah doubted the message and Gabriel made him dumb. It was not God that told the angel to inflict Zachariah with dumbness. The angel choose to do so in place of God.

The law was given to establish a standard of relationship between man and God. A standard which was faulted by God thus Grace introduced. Now, we are on better covenant wherein Jesus is the mediator. In other words, God relates with us on Jesus’ standard and holiness.
