People: Let us make a joyful noise to God with songs of thanksgiving.

*Congregational Prayer (in unison):
Our good and gracious God, by your love you have created us and through your love you
sustain us and in your love you would make us perfect: we humbly confess that we have
not loved you with all our heart and mind and soul and strength, and we have not loved
one another as Christ loved us. Forgive what we have been; help us to amend what we
are; and direct what we shall be. We ask this for the sake of your glory and our salvation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
