Good Afternoon Facebook family
I'm sorry we weren't able to broadcast today. The church had internet issues. The Word for today was "Follow The Instruction.
Our text, ROMANS 15:4: FOR EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE PAST WAS WRITTEN TO TEACH US, SO THAT THROUGH THE ENDURANCE TAUGHT IN THE SCRIPTURES AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT THEY PROVIDE WE MIGHT HAVE HOPE, If we ever need hope and to understand hope, now is the time. But the Word brings hope.
WE ARE TO BUILD OUR LIVES AROUND THE SCRIPTURE. IT IS THE 100% INSPIRED WORD OF GOD THAT CAN LEAD US SAFELY THROUGH THE STORMS THAT WE FACE IN THE WORLD.

THE SCRIPTURE GIVE US THE UNDERSTANDING WE NEED TO ENDURE THE SITUATIONS AROUND US. IT HELPS US TO UNDERSTAND THE SINFUL ACTIONS OF people around us, the random acts OF SHOOTINGS and police Brutality AND RACISM. IT LEADS US TO THE UNDERSTANDING THAT ALTHOUGH WE CAN’T CHANGE THESE THINGS IN THE WORLD, WE CAN MAKE THE WORLD AROUND US A LITTLE BETTER AND TO OFFER TRUE HOPE IN CHRIST.
The instructions of God are valuable. Please note that
Following God’s Word is the light that we need to get out of this dark world. King David wrote that the Word of God was a lamp unto his feet (Psalms 119:105).
The Bible says if you obey and follow God’s instructions you will live in perfect freedom. You will have greater wisdom. You will dwell in security and peace.

Today's Focus: Remember Who You Are

Consider a man walking toward the ocean. He looks at the waves, but he can’t see his reflection. So, he drives to a lake. And standing at the bank of the lake, he gazes at the still water and sees his reflection. In the same way, when your mind is flustered, it’s difficult to think clearly. It’s difficult to see clearly. But, once you're at peace, then you can think. In moments like these, remember God. Remember that He made you in His image. Remember that you have hidden treasure within. Remember that you are wonderfully made. Take a moment to be still before the Lord and remember who He created you to be so that God may be exalted in your life.
