As we close the chapter on May, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for all God has done at Mt. Olive! What a month of celebration, connection, and growth! We honored our mothers, celebrated our graduates, welcomed new members into our church family, enjoyed fellowship at our Family Fun Day Mixer, and took positive steps toward healthier living through our “Get in Line with Your Health” classes.
Through every hug, smile, conversation, prayer, and shared moment, God has reminded us that we are stronger together. We are thankful for every life touched, every relationship strengthened, and every blessing received.As we step into a new month, we do so with expectation, knowing that God is not finished with us yet!

The future of Mt. Olive rests in the hands God has already chosen — our youth, our babies, the next generation walking in His promise. On Easter Sunday, we rejoiced in the power of the resurrection, a reminder that new life, new purpose, and new hope is born through Him. What God has started in Mt. Sweet April has come to an end, and we joyfully welcome in a beautiful May. 🌸
Here at Mount Olive, this past month has truly been a blessing. We welcomed and prayed over a new man of God, watched our sweet Maiden be crowned Miss Black Awareness, and celebrated all of our April birthdays with love and gratitude.
We prayed together. We worshipped together. We wrapped our arms around our youth and young adults, pouring into the next generation with purpose and care.
We closed the month in a powerful way, celebrating our 152nd church anniversary — a true testament to God’s faithfulness through the years.
We are growing spiritually, emotionally, and physically. God is moving, and we are grateful.
May, we welcome you with open hearts. 💜
