On September 11, we remember.

Tonight, the Newmarket Community Church sanctuary will be open from 5–7 PM as a quiet space for remembrance, reflection, and prayer.

We remember those whose lives were lost on 9/11, hold close all who carry the weight of that day, and pray for a world where so many continue to experience violence, oppression, and loss.

Come as you are. Light a candle, offer a prayer, sit quietly, or simply spend a few moments in a place of peace.

All are welcome.

Fall flavors are on the menu for our September Community Dinner! 🍂

Join us Saturday, September 19, for a free, home-cooked meal featuring Harvest Pork Stew, homemade scallion biscuits, saffron risotto, candied squash medley, Harvest Caesar salad, and two delicious fall desserts: caramel apple cake and pumpkin pie cheesecake. 🍎🎃

Come with family, friends, or on your own. Enjoy a warm meal, friendly conversation, and time connecting with neighbors. There is no cost to attend, and donations to support future Community Dinners are always appreciated but never expected.

There are moments when we need a quiet place to remember, to grieve, to hope, and to pray.

This Friday from 5–7 PM, our sanctuary will be open to our community as we remember the lives lost on September 11 and hold in our hearts all those who continue to experience loss through violence and oppression around the world.

There is no service or program. Simply an open door and a sacred space to spend a few quiet moments in whatever way you need.

Our Backyard Bash Thrift Shop Guessing Game was a big success!

We were so excited to welcome our winners into the Newmarket Community Church Thrift Shop for a special shopping spree. The kids had a great time picking out clothes, toys, and other fun goodies to take home.

Moments like these remind us what our Thrift Shop is all about: offering affordable prices, great finds, and a welcoming place for our community.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Backyard Bash and continues to support the Thrift Shop. Your support helps us keep making a positive impact right here in Newmarket.

The NCC Thrift Shop will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. 🇺🇸

We hope our volunteers, shoppers, and neighbors enjoy a restful holiday! We’ll see you when the shop reopens for regular hours on Tuesday.
