Today, One Heart Mission toured Antigua — some hiking Pacaya volcano, others climbing to view the city from Cerro de la Cruz, checking out the ruins at Hotel Santo Domingo, lunch at Cafe Condesa, shopping, and/or enjoying the rooftop view from Antigua Brewing Co. We all gathered together for Communion, before enjoying dinner and a show at Posada Don Rodrigo. We start the journey home VERY EARLY tomorrow morning. Hasta la vista, Guatemala!

Yesterday, One Heart Mission said goodbye to Panajachel and the beautiful Jardines del Lago hotel. We stopped at a scenic spot for a group picture on our way to Salud y Paz. Along with the Chapel Hill group from Michigan, we went for a blessing of the new house with the family. We presented them with backpacks with two outfits for each child, as well as groceries to last approximately a month. We then attended a musical performance of the children, led by David (TODD) and Heather (stay tuned for a couple of videos!). After a quick lunch, we headed to Antigua for the weekend. After checking into Hotel Las Marias, we had a couple of hours to walk about downtown, followed by dinner at El Tennador, where we got to see Fuego spit a bit of fire.
