On behalf of the Simms Memroial church family, we would like to say God bless and thank each and every one of you for coming out to celebrate the life of this great man of God. It was a hand clappin, foot stomping service like we said it was gonna be. It was a HUGE success. I hope everyone was seated comfortably and enjoyed the service. God bless all of you. The Pastor McCoy Era came to a close last night. We sent him off the best and only way we know how. Shoutin and singing and having some church! 20 years of labor of his labor, preaching and teaching and singing and shoutin, none of it is in vain. Our mourning period is over. It's time to move on to the next level. The next leader. We love you Pastor McCoy. The church members and building is in good hands. Say hi to Mother Simms for us. ❤❤ Your legacy will remain here forever.

Good morning and God bless you on today! Just a reminder, Simms Memorial will be closed for service today. We are not having church due to the Cogic Holy Convocation in Hamden. God bless all of you again. See you next week. Awesome women's day service last week. Looking forward to a great service next week for Men's day!

God bless Sis. Barbra Owens for a beautiful message this morning. She preached about RESTRUCTURE, that was her topic.
We go through changes in our lives wether it's death, marriage, money gained or money lost and other events and activities. Those changes are to restructure you so that you are built to go further in life. Yes, at one point, everybody's life is structured. Church is even structured BUT at some point in life, again, even with church members, when they leave, God is restructuring the ministry hoping that THIS time, the church does it HIS way. When you go through change no matter who, what, when, where, how, or why, it may be because you need to be RESTRUCTURED.
God bless you on today. God loves you and so do we, here at Simms Memorial!!

It's been 47 years since these church doors opened up in 1972. We have been in the same location for that long and if it be God's will we will be here for 47 more years!! Thanking and praising God for his wonderful works thru that timespan. Seen them come, seen them go. Today, we celebrate 47 years for this ministry. Thank you EVERYONE for coming out to a FIRE FILLED church anniversary service. Pastor Young from Holy Temple in Windsor gave a powerful word and the service was just awesome!! Thank you to all those that came out unselfishly. Here's to 47 more!! Thank you all again. Come out to have fellowship with the little white church on the corner someday. You'll be glad you did!
