Mt. Carmel - St. Cristina Society The Society is a Christian Italian social organization in the Hartford, CT area. The Mt. Carmel-St. Cristina.

Cristina Society has served the social and religious needs of Italian-Americans in the greater Hartford area since 1980. Our members include more than 250 men and women of Italian background and Catholic faith whose efforts honor God and pay special tribute to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. The history of the organization goes back to the founding in 1926 of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel society by imm

igrants from Sassano, Salerno Italy and the founding in 1960 of St. Cristina society by immigrants from Sepino, Campobasso, Italy. Today our members share their rich heritage from many different regions of Italy.

Thank you Lori Mucciacciaro for another great outing! Our first annual family picnic was a big success. Everyone enjoyed Miano pizza truck, pizza was a hit along with the salad and gelato. Kids enjoyed the play scape, coloring, tattoos, bubbles, water balloons and the fishing. Thank you to everyone who made Italian cookies and for coming out to support this event!
