In order to prepare for the coming storm, People's UMC will worship online only this morning at 10:00 am.

This our First Sunday in Lent. Some of us gathered on Ash Wednesday to observe the beginning of our Lenten season, while some of us will begin our observations today. Today we read the foundational scripture for Lent, Jesus’ temptations in the wilderness from Matthew 4:1-11.

Join us tomorrow at 2:00 pm in person or on Zoom for our Ash Wednesday service.

We will gather together tomorrow at 2:00 pm at People’s UMC to observe Ash Wednesday. We will have a quiet, reflective service to remember our mortality, begin our Lenten journey, and receive the imposition of ashes.

Due to the cold and Pastor Matt being sick, we will be worshipping online only today.

Winter is doing what winter does. It is really cold out, the roads and parking remain less that ideal, and I have been sick with a virus, bronchitis, and sinus infection for the past week. So, we will gather on Zoom today so that we can stay warm, safe, and in my case, get healthy.
