Good afternoon. I’ve been reading one Psalm and one proverb each day. Today what touched my heart was Proverbs 15:1-2 TPT
Respond gently when you are confronted, and you’ll defuse the anger of another. Responding with sharp cutting words will only make it worse. Don’t you know that being angry can ruin the testimony of even the wisest man? When wisdom speaks, understanding becomes attractive. The words of a fool make their ignorance look laughable.

Anger doesn’t look good on us. There have been times in my life I got angry and looked pretty ugly. I love the times when I could have struck back with not so nice words as I was being confronted or falsely accused, but instead remained calm. Numerous times I was blasted from others who were angry, cursed at me and I remained calm and said, “I refuse to say mean things to you to get back at you. I refuse to dishonor the Lord or judge you in away it will polute the atmosphere and hit me back in the same way I judged you.” Oh Lord, help us speak what is true without the venom. Help us not to have to get the last word in. Help us to be humble when we cut others with our words and become more aware of other’s feelings. help us not to take things so personal and try to assess the situation before we respond. Sometimes people take offense because they’re hearing the voice of another person speaking to them from their past who hurt them and you happen to trigger that hurt or unforgiveness.
Stand back, assess the argument to see where it’s coming from or to take responsibility for what you could have done to cause the argument.
May peace rain in our homes and in our relationships. God bless you all today. I hope you’re smiling and enjoying all the blessings that the Lord has given us 😀❤️

Good afternoon to my treasured friends. Today is Valentine's Day. It all began around 270 A.D. when a Roman empire decreed a law to stop marriage. He thought his soldiers would be more angry and aggressive if they were not married and had no love in their lives. Yet a man who was, I believe in the Catholic religion, refused to stop marrying the couples who were in love. So he did it in secret, but the Emperor found out about it and called him in. When Valentine came before the emperor, he was not shy. He tried to convert the emperor to Christianity. But the emperor gave him a stern warning that if he was found marrying couples again, he would go to his death. Valentine followed his Bridegroom's voice (Jesus) and stood strong for traditional marriage. He did not listen to the emperor. He listened only to the bridegroom. Pretty amazing. The emperor did find out again and put Valentine in jail. While he was in jail, people were coming to visit him with cards, thank you notes, flower, goodies and food. They were all coming to thank him for marrying them. The jailer's daughter became very ill. The jailer asked Valentine if he would pray for his daughter to be healed. Valentine did pray for his daughter and she was miraculously healed. She began to come and visit Valentine and there became a very strong bond between the two of them just before the day came for Valentine to be martyred, he wrote a letter to the jailer's daughter. It was a letter to express that he had fallen in love with her. He signed it. Your valentine. Millions and millions of dollars over the year have been spent in celebration of love. But it all originated with one man who refused to follow any voice, but the Bridegroom's voice.. And his legacy has lasted down through the ages. We may die but what ew do for the Lord on this earth does not. So as we celebrate Valentine's Day today, remember, he was a man of great belief and loved not loving his life unto death. He died for the sake of the gospel and traditional marriage. Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. Hope to see you tomorrow. 104 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550 11:00am at Northeast Gateway To Freedom for our weekly gathering,
