Gardnertown UMC is committed to open hearts, open doors and open minds and as such is open to all for virtual worship every Sunday at 11 a.m. There are many activities and opportunities for ministry at Gardnertown: an Adult Bible Study that meets virtually on Tuesday evenings and one on Thursday mornings We are also involved in many local outreach programs, like Habitat for Humanity.

Palm Sunday Worship for the Eastern Orange Co-op

This is the video recording of the EOC Parish Palm Sunday Worship service at Central Valley UMC. We had fantastic music, wonderful preaching, and a full congregation. The wonderful children's sermon starts at about 3:30. The regular sermon begins at about 10:30. Enjoy!

This is the pre-recorded worship service for the Eastern Orange Cooperative Parish for Sunday, Feb. 22nd. The theme is going into the wilderness of temptation with Jesus. We explore how Jesus was tempted by Satan and how we can avoid temptation or at least fight against it.

This is the recording of our worship service for Sunday, Jan. 19th, assuming snow prevents us from gathering for worship. The sermon starts at 17:30.
Today we hear again that God calls people by name and meets us where we are. In Isaiah we are reminded that we are known and formed by God. Paul writes to a church still learning its way. In the Gospel Jesus asks, “What are you looking for?” and invites those first followers to come and see. Wherever you find yourself today—hopeful, weary, searching, or grateful—there is room for you here.

Deacon Deb led us in a joint, parish-wide worship service on Sunday, Dec. 28th. Her theme was "Refuge & Sanctuary". This is the full recording of that service. It also featured a flute quartet with some joyous Christmas music.
