Hi everyone! Sorry for my absence here! In these unusual times, I should have been here with all kinds of good stuff! Please forgive me.

Give me suggestions of what you would like to see here. I can do recipes, health related articles, home exercise/fitness routines, walking challenges and more. Just let me know! Make this "our page"
, not "Ann's page"!! I would love to have interactions with you!! Do you have a health question that you are wondering about? And it doesn't have to be some disease, maybe you want suggestions for a diet plan, or interpretation of something your doctor said...I may or may not be able to help with this one but I have resources. Or you may have a suggestion for a contest, an activity etc.

We had a good turn-out after church today! I want to thank everyone for supporting YOUR Health Ministry!

I would like to begin some physical programs. Let me know what might interest you. I have a variety, from walks, to chair exercises! The gym room is still available, but I don't know for how long. To get in, you need to get a fob from the office and sign a waver.

Any other questions or suggestions you want addressed? You can place it here or if you prefer more privacy let me know and I will give you contact info. Or you can talk to me at church.

Also, any Sunday you can get a free BP check, just ask! And let me know what educational displays/handouts you would like!

Let me know what interests you...I know we are all wired differently and that is what makes life fun!!!

The Health Ministry table was set up this past Sunday, 2/9/20, and will be up the next 2 Sundays as well. Be sure and stop by, see what info we have and let us know what information you might like. We will also be checking Blood Pressures in one of the un-used rooms. So whether you have BP problems or not, it never hurts to get it checked. Things do change, you know!!

If you have questions about something, please stop by! We also have a Newsletter that will be available, be sure to come pick one up!

2020 FCN HEALTH & WELLNESS MINISTRY


The FCN Health Ministry mission is to coordinate a Christian group of volunteer health professionals and other trained non-health volunteers to utilize their talents and abilities to care for the body, mind and spirit of our church and community through Christ-centered health, fitness & wellness programs and services.

Medical and non-medical persons wanted!! Please contact Ann Williams if you have questions, wish to volunteer or have any questions!

If you are not able to be a part of the volunteer group, just be sure to watch for activities that you can participate in! If you would like to be on a mailing list for newsletters and programs, please email Ann at [email protected]!! :-)

A challenge for you!

It is almost the end of the year! I pray we will share the light and love of Jesus to make the world a brighter place in 2020!

I have exciting news to share and a challenge for you.

We are having a FCN hybrid class for the first time ever. This class will be divided into 3 live sessions and the remaining classes will be online, through VUJC. USI will continue to offer the entire portion online.

Each in person class will be held at The Memorial Lodge in Jasper from 5-9 p.m. E.S.T. and a simple dinner will be provided. Classes will be March 17th, April 7th, and May 5th.
