Do you ever wonder why things happen? "Why? Making Sense of God's Will" is out worship \ study series Sept 10, 2023 - Oct 1, 2023. September 10 we will be considering "Why do the Innocent Supper?" during 9 a.m. worship. The study will be Monday at 10:30 at the church. If you would like a zoom link please Let us know on this site. We will be utilizing the book "Why? Making Sense of God's Will" by the Rev Adam Hamilton. It is available at the church.

Twenty-four members of South Lyon: First UMC recently served at God’s Country Cooperative Parish, an EngageMI Ministry Partner and popular UMVIM (Volunteers in Mission) project site in the Upper Peninsula. The group accomplished many tasks for this rural ministry by putting on a new roof and porch ramp on a house, painting Newberry UMC’s church building and garage, and installing an RV cleanout station.
