What a blessing to have George Fox University students and staff join us for their annual Serve Day!

We gave our playground a refresh of rubber chips, washed down the equipment, painted the church shed, cleaned the inside and outside of Wayside's bus (that they so graciously let us borrow today), washed windows of the church and fellowship hall, and shared a pizza lunch together.

Good morning, Joyful Servants.

Just wanted to make you aware of some overnight developments that may affect your route to church this morning. There was a major fire at the train trestle on Villa, and through traffic is closed.

Plan to take College to Crestview to avoid road closures. (Construction continues outside Northwest Christian Church as well, so Villa at Mountainview remains closed). All in all, allow for extra travel time this morning.

Announcing a slight change to our free community meal program. We will now be serving on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month only.

Due to volunteer and resource shortages, we have dropped the 5th Tuesdays until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.

It's the 3rd Tuesday of the month, which means Simple Supper is on at Joyful Servant Lutheran Church! (You can find us here on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month.) 😋 If you are hungry and need food, we are here with a helping hand.

We open at 5:00 pm, and will serve until 6:00 pm or when food runs out, whichever comes first. Come to dine-in, or grab-and-go.
