Coptic Society is an organization that offers students a supplement to the secularity of academia. It is an organization which looks to center itself on Christ and hopes to support the surrounding community by embodying the spirit of the Church on campus. Members are encouraged to integrate their beliefs as Christians into their lives as students by promoting tolerance and fellowship. Members are

also encouraged to become persons of consequence and active members of the Rutgers-Newark community. This organization is neither restricted to a singular race nor particular religion. All Coptic Society meetings and events are structured so as to inform and support the students of Rutgers-Newark. Coptic Society's page is a means of notification of upcoming social, spiritual, and service events. It is also a means of open communication between the members of the society and the board, for spiritual and communal growth and development.

I HOPE YOU’RE ALL HAVING A WONDERFUL AND BLESSED DAY AND THAT YOU’RE ALL KILLING YOUR FINALS!!

WE ARE ALL VERY FORTUNATE TO BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE HAVE WHILE THERE ARE MANY CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT AS BLESSED AS WE ARE AROUND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR

CS IS TEAMING UP WITH OCCM AND WE ARE GOING TO BE HELPING OUT WITH A TOY DRIVE FOR THE TOYS FOR TOTS!!

"For there is no death for your servant but a departure." Christ is Risen, Truly He is Risen. On behalf of all the members of Coptic Society, we extend our deepest condolences for the repose of our sister Sandra Atef Rezk. While with heavy hearts we mourn her untimely loss we are comforted by the Hope and the Promise of our Lord Jesus Christ for the "Resurrection of the dead and the life of the age to come." We pray that our Lord the Comforter may console her family with His true peace and that we may take her life and death to be a reminder to live vigilantly, constantly striving towards our Lord, knowing that nothing in this life is guaranteed.

Coptic students of Newark!

There’s a new outreach service that was recently started by Silvia Farahat, and it’s called Angel Delivery! Through this service, you can sign up as a volunteer to bring supplies and groceries to those who are most at risk and cannot leave their homes; or, if you know someone who is high risk or is self-isolating that may need this service, you can have them sign up to request a delivery through the following link:
