Our vision is to promote salvation, to give every man, woman, and child the opportunity to experience a relationship with God to grow and develop in ministry for the honor and glory of God. Redemption Tabernacle Pentecostal Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ in obedience to the Great Commission to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire all persons to experience the grace and fo
rgiveness of God, a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community through obedience to bring good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to set free the captives, to preach peace, as Jesus did. Understanding Redemption Tabernacle Pentecostal Church’s history allows us to reaffirm the essence behind our mission—to bring people of all creeds, races, and ethnic backgrounds together for the glory and honor of God by making disciples through worship, community, and service. RTPC consists of members from the United States, Ghana and various islands throughout the West Indies, but it all began with a calling. In the 1980s, the Pipers initiated the calling that was set out in their lives, developing themselves and, in turn, developing disciples for God. Out of the faithfulness of these individuals responding to God’s call, Redemption Tabernacle Pentecostal Church was born.
