The book of Revelation isn't meant to leave us living in fear or standing on the sidelines. It's meant to draw us deeper into God's Word, strengthen our faith, and move us to share the hope of Jesus with those around us.

As we looked at the seven seals in Sunday's message, we were reminded that we aren't the hero of the story-Jesus is.

So what does that mean for how we live today? We can stop relying on our own strength, live in His transforming grace, pray boldly, and remain faithful even when life is difficult.

Because no matter what we face, evil and suffering will not have the final word. Jesus will.

What do the seven seals in Revelation reveal about Jesus, suffering, and the hope we have in Him?

As we continue our Revealed series this Sunday, we’ll explore how, even in a world filled with uncertainty, suffering, and evil, Jesus remains victorious. We can trust His grace, remain faithful through difficult seasons, and hold on to the promise that evil and suffering will not have the final word.

🚧 Parking Lot Paving Notice

We wanted to give our church family and neighbors in the community a heads-up that the Community Wesleyan Church parking lot will be paved November 2–5 and will be unavailable for use during that time.

This includes those who regularly use our parking lot to access the community recycling bins. Please plan accordingly, as access will be unavailable while work is being completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements to our property!

Sunday we dove into Revelation chapters 2-3 and the letters to the 7 churches. There was a lot to consider in what God was speaking to them and what is meant for us to pay attention to today.

Yesterday we began our Revelation series entitled Revealed. We often approach Revelation looking for a secret code or timeline predictions and fall into either obsession with the details with an edge of fear or indifference thinking that there is no relevance to our life today. Jesus desires us to have transformation and spiritual readiness that is not panic driven or comfortably indifference. 🕊️ Why should we examine ourselves before taking Communion?

Communion is a beautiful gift where we remember Christ’s sacrifice together as a body of believers. But Scripture also reminds us to pause and reflect before we take part (1 Corinthians 11:17–34).

This Sunday at CWC, we will be taking communion together, so let’s take time to prepare our hearts. This doesn’t need to feel heavy or scary... it’s an invitation to make sure:
1️⃣ We truly belong to Christ
2️⃣ We understand what communion represents
3️⃣ Our hearts are right with God

Let’s come together in remembrance of Him. ✝️

What has Jesus called us to-and how do we keep that calling at the center of our lives?

Yesterday, Pastor Mark Leist reminded us that when we stay focused on why Jesus has called us, we are empowered to faithfully live out that calling: to be disciples and make disciples.
