Yesterday we began a new series called Faith & Culture, focusing on the current tension surrounding sexual identity and the Christian faith.

As followers of Jesus, we're called to hold both truth and grace together. Not ignoring difficult questions. Not responding with condemnation. But learning to faithfully live out our faith while loving people the way Jesus does.

This Sunday at Community Wesleyan Church, we’re beginning a new series called Faith & Culture focused on the current tension surrounding sexual identity and the Christian faith.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll explore questions surrounding identity, Scripture, truth, grace, being disciples, and the heart of Jesus. How do we love people well and still hold to biblical conviction?

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to others.

We are grateful for the sacrifices made by so many and mindful of the families who carry both pride and loss today.

As we gather with loved ones, may we also take a moment to reflect, give thanks, and pray for peace, comfort, and hope.

There’s something powerful about watching people publicly declare their faith and celebrate the new life Jesus brings. Baptism is more than a tradition-it’s a testimony of hope, transformation, and surrender.

There’s something powerful about gathering together as the church lifting our voices, fixing our eyes on Jesus, and remembering who He is in the middle of everything life throws at us.

This Sunday we continue our “Why Believe?” series with a message called Next Steps as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday together alongside baptism. Come expecting truth, encouragement, and room for the Holy Spirit to move.
