The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is one of Rotary's most prestigious honors, acknowledging individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to Rotary's mission of service above self. This recognition is awarded to those who contribute, or have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation, though it also serves as an award for exemplary work in community service or helping those in need. Earlier this month, students from Kindergarten - 5th grade at Newark Charter School collected more than 1,500 items for the NAWC Food Cupboard! Their goal was 1,000 items to earn a schoolwide spirit day, and they far surpassed it.

A heartfelt thank you to the school community: students, families, and staff, for supporting this effort and demonstrating the power of giving back. It’s inspiring to see students learning the value of volunteering and helping others at such a young age. Your generosity and community spirit make a real difference!
