Our organization operates solely from donations from local individuals and businesses, charitable and service clubs, and grants from the City of Newark. We also receive funds from the State of Delaware, the Wilmington Flow

Earlier this month, students from Kindergarten - 5th grade at Newark Charter School collected more than 1,500 items for the NAWC Food Cupboard! Their goal was 1,000 items to earn a schoolwide spirit day, and they far surpassed it.

A heartfelt thank you to the school community: students, families, and staff, for supporting this effort and demonstrating the power of giving back. It’s inspiring to see students learning the value of volunteering and helping others at such a young age. Your generosity and community spirit make a real difference!
