Ivan Broomer, whose mission in life is to help anyone that is in need. Growing up in church, as the grandson of the late Bishop L.T. Blackshear, Bishop Broomer witnessed alot of church politics. He begin to see how the focus of the church shifted from winning souls to a lust for power and control by those in leadership positions. Bishop Broomer felt God tugging him to return to his first love and

do the first works. Through an act of obedience, Stronghold Deliverance Ministries was established. With a reset mind, we turn from church as usual to ministry. It is our mission to minister to the total man--mind, soul and spirit. (pray until something happens) for every man, woman and child. We will be a safehaven for the lost and rejected. We will serve in our community. Stronghold Deliverance Ministries is about love for the people. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
