The Pleasure of Beltane - Potluck & Celebration

May 1st
6 PM - 9pm

Beltane is a fire festival celebrating the peak of spring, focusing on sensuality, passion, and pleasure. It encourages individuals to reconnect with nature, enjoy sensory delights, and indulge in joy, love, and self-care.

We will celebrate with a pot luck at 6 PM, then go outside for a bonfire, with marshmallows, music, drumming, decorate a may bush. Wear your flower wreath, bright clothes, bring drums, rattles and a dish to share. A night of pure pleasure!

Today we celebrate balance—equal light and dark—and the turning of the wheel toward growth, renewal, and possibility. 🌼🌞🌙

Our UU Rocks are out in the world carrying messages of hope, awakening, and interconnectedness. Each one is a small reminder that even the tiniest seeds can grow into something beautiful.

If you find one, take a moment to pause, breathe, and reflect on what you’re ready to grow in your own life this season. Then feel free to re-hide it or share the joy with someone else. 💛

Paint a small stone with words or symbols of love, justice, and renewal, and place it somewhere in your community for others to discover. It’s a simple act that can brighten someone’s day and carry our values out into the world.
