As we enter the Passover season the Torah uses two specific Hebrew words. Chametz refers to grain that has undergone fermentation. Se’or refers to fermented starter dough used to leaven other dough. Both terms involve grain + water + time, resulting in fermentation. Understanding these definitions is essential because the Torah’s commands are based on these exact terms, not on modern ideas of “anything that rises.”

In a few weeks we will enter the Passover season. We are reminded that in the first century, the removal of leaven was not just physical — it was spiritual preparation.

Yahshua is telling His disciples:
“You cannot enter Passover with the wrong doctrine.”

Because Passover is about:
- purification
- separation
- covenant identity
- truth vs. mixture

So, Yashua warns them to cleanse their teaching the same way Israel cleanses their houses.
