"Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel..." (Genesis 32:28). Transformation often comes through struggle, not by avoiding it. Take a moment today to reflect on where God might be doing that work in you.

The questions most people carry about God are personal: does God care, is God here, is God for me? Colossians 1:15-23a traces the incarnation from the cosmic to the personal, from the God who holds all things together to the God who pursued reconciliation with us. In Jesus, God refused to stay distant and closed the distance permanently.

Today's sermon is "The God We Can See" and comes from Colossians 1:15-23a.

Points from today's sermon:
1) The incarnation teaches us that the "invisible God" chose to be seen.
2) The fullness of God was born among us. That means all of God, not just a portion, is present in Jesus.
3) In Jesus, all things are reconciled. Even you.
