Founded in the tradition of the Episcopal Church, with a Celtic spirit, we are an inclusive community, welcoming all people: clergy and lay, married, single, or partners in a committed relationship. We are bound to each other by common ideals and a commitment to prayer and service; our primary ministries focus on retreats and quiet days, pastoral care, intercessory prayer and spiritual direction.
Each member must be self-supporting, and members of the Fellowship may live in their own homes or in groups as the ability for that arises. Anamchara Fellowship has received canonical recognition by the House of Bishops’ Committee on the Religious Life and are members of NAECC (National Association of Episcopal Christian Communities www.naecc.us). Professed members take vows of Simplicity, Fidelity, and Obedience, and all members of Anamchara Fellowship strive to live into the charisms of Hospitality, Generosity, Compassion, and Love. No person shall be denied access to the discernment process in this Order because of race, color, ethnic origin, national origin, s*x, marital status, s*xual orientation, gender identity and expression, disabilities or age.
