Our Story
Can you believe that the vision for this church began with an afternoon nap? One day after football practice; Pastor G laid down to take a nap and he had a dream that would change his life. This dream was Revolutionary. He dreamed about a church where people could radically change the direction of their lives by connecting with Christ. The dream revealed a ministry that was committed to
turning the world upside down for the cause of Christ. He dreamed about a church that would meet human need and share God's grace. Who would ever think that a quick nap on the couch would be so life changing? When he awoke from the dream the journey began. He immediately began to write, think, talk, and draw about what he had seen in that dream. This dream was not only pressing it was persistent; while Pastor G was in college the dream lay distant and dormant but a plane ride home reignited the initial fire of that dream. On that plane Pastor G struck up a conversation with a stranger who was looking for a church similar to the one in the dream. Inspired by this conversation the vision plan for this church began. This church is not a solo project, God surrounded Pastor G with some strong faith leaders and committed friends who are inspired by the dream to assist and encourage him in the process. While the team worked on the dream; the dream continues to work on and challenge them. The planning for this church is a product of hard work, experiences, disappointments, desire, and faith. Now Revolution Church has been born; it was all a dream.
